A rarely awarded Ingenio et Arti medal

Lars Liebst, born 1956, managing director of Tivoli A/S in Copenhagen 1996-2020, was awarded the Ingenio et Arti medal by H. M. The Queen in a privat audience at Christian IX's Palace (part of Amalienborg Palace) on November 24th, 2020.

The medal is awarded to prominent persons, Danes and foreigners, for contributions in art and science. It is rarely awarded - the previous award was in 2013.

The medal was instituted in 1841. It is in solid gold and named on the rim.

Lars Liebst was previously awarded the Commander Cross of the Order of Dannebrog on H. M. The Queen's birthday in 2015.
