An introduction covering the convent's comprehensive history by custodian Søren Lyder Jacobsen was followed by a tour of the premises. The convent has in the present day 'adopted' the history of Odense Convent and its cultural treasures.It was an unique experience, as the convent contains centuries of history, art and culture in general.
Susequently a presentation by Lars Stevnsborg about convent and diocesan orders, which tied neatly in with the convent orders from the OMSD Collection currently being exhibited in the convent's Great Hall.
The Friends of Roskilde Convent group was invited to attend the presentation - a gesture they reciprocated by providing a glass of wine for the event.
All in all, a successful Saturday afternoon.
